Still got that ultra-rapid engine, entire bike feels more refined than original model
By refining it, BMW have removed some of that S1000RR brutality
Small tweaks all round for the S1000RR. Engine power remains the same but traction control, suspension, steering geometry, gearing and styling all get tweaks

Overall Review

An incredible machine, alot of fun and very fast but its seriously let down by its build quality, no where near Yamaha or Kawasaki's quality. After owning and living with one on a daily basis I will be looking at other superbikes with a tad less power but more reliable.

Strengths

Fast, furious, fun and agile. Feels like a 600 but pulls as a litre bike. Great for short commutes. Trackday enthusiasts like them as a serious track weapon. Heated grips, traction control and decent brakes are good to have too.

Weaknesses

Heavy vibration through the handle bars, prepare for numb hands. Various components are known to fail like start/kill switch, cush drives and fuel injection system. Prepare to be at the BMW dealership often. If you plan to do any work on it yourself, invest in some decent torx tools and be careful with the bolts as they are made of soft ali, easy to thread and ruin your pride and joy
