Alpinestars RSRV and Red Bull team up for new capsule collection
Alpinestars RSRV and Red Bull have teamed up for a five-piece clothing collection, including a $2,500 leather jacket with some motorcycle protection.

Alpinestars and Red Bull have joined forces, with a new capsule collection making its debut at ComplexCon in Los Angeles on October 3-4, before going on sale online.
The collection comes from Alpinestars RSRV, the more fashion-focused arm of the motorcycle gear brand, and draws heavily on the two companies' motorsport connections.
The headline product is a distressed cow-leather bomber jacket priced at an eye-watering $2,500 (or around £1,800 in non-Monopoly money). It has an oversized, boxy fit, Red Bull and Alpinestars RSRV graphics and integrated GP Plasma shoulder protectors and crash slider protectors.
It's joined by a matching tracksuit, comprising a $450 track jacket and $350 pair of track pants. Both use 100 per cent nylon with mesh lining and oversized fits, with the jacket getting a hood and large co-branded graphics.

The collection is rounded out by a distressed sweatshirt costing $375 and a T-shirt priced at $200. Both use oversized or boxy cuts, with vintage-style fading and distressed Alpinestars RSRV and Red Bull graphics.
While most of the collection is aimed firmly at the fashion and streetwear market rather than proper motorcycle riders, the leather jacket does retain some actual motorcycle equipment in the form of its shoulder and slider protection.
The RSRV label is Alpinestars' fashion-led division, taking inspiration from the company's long involvement in motorcycle racing and translating it into limited-edition clothing. Red Bull, meanwhile, has longstanding links with motorcycle racing and other action sports, making the collaboration a fairly obvious one.
There is no word on UK pricing for the collection at this stage. The Alpinestars RSRV x Red Bull range will be available from October 3 at ComplexCon in Los Angeles and online through the Alpinestars RSRV website.
So, if you have nearly two grand burning a hole in your top box, and want to own a jacket that looks like it's already been crashed in, Alpinestars and Red Bull have just the answer!
