Popular LS2 Spectrum intercom gains new voice operation technology
LS2 has revealed significant updates to its popular Spectrum intercom unit, with the main functions now controlled by your own voice.

LS2 has revealed a new ‘EVO’ version of its popular Spectrum intercom system, which adds two new features including voice operation technology.
The updated model gets all the same tech as before, while a new dedicated smartphone app has also been developed, allowing the Spectrum EVO to have its settings tailored to individual preferences.
Pairing the new app with the Spectrum EVO intercom means the unit is now better aligned with future software updates. In other words, the system will continue to develop after it's been purchased.
Co-developed with communication specialists Midland, the Spectrum EVO’s voice operation technology now handles all of the main functions without the need to reach for buttons whilst on the move.

In the UK, customers can order their LS2 Spectrum EVO for £159,99, including VAT. According to the helmet maker, the new device is also compatible with most lids in the range.
Real-time connectivity allows four riders to be synced up at a time, with a range of 1.2km (around 0.7 miles).
The Spectrum EVO features the same Bluetooth 5.1 and universal connectivity system as before, which is compatible with headsets from all major brands, including the likes of Sony and Bose.
Furthermore, it also offers full connectivity with smartphone devices, GPS units and TFT displays, too. Audio is again handled by Italian specialists RCF, with 40mm high-definition speakers delivering ultra-HD sound for calls, music streaming and GPS navigation.
Finally, the Spectrum EVO comes with advanced AI-powered noise cancellation, is fully waterproof, and features up to 20 hours of communication time off a single charge.
