Charley Boorman is heading to Motorcycle Live 2026 with a new project celebrating one of Northern Ireland’s biggest motorcycle racing events, the North West 200.

The adventure rider, broadcaster and Zerofit ambassador will appear on the opening day of MCL26, Saturday 21 November, where he will showcase Bigger, Better, Faster, a new film exploring the history of the North West 200.

Made in conjunction with Zerofit and filmmaker Luke Whatley-Bigg, the film is Boorman’s latest project following a career that has taken him around the world on two wheels.

Boorman will be interviewed on the MCL26 stage by regular hosts James Whitham and Grace Webb, with the pair expected to delve into both his adventures and the making of the new North West 200 film.

The project gives Boorman a particularly relevant subject for Motorcycle Live, given his own history in motorcycle racing. He previously managed a Dakar race team in the late 1990s and says he is also looking forward to seeing the show's celebration of 30 years of the British Superbike Championship.

Speaking about the visit to the show, Boorman said:

“It was an absolute pleasure to be invited to MCL this year, and I cannot wait to see all of the amazing new machines, innovations and features at one of my favourite events

“There is no better place to see everything we live for as motorcyclists, and as a former owner of a race team in the late 1990s, I am particularly excited to see the BSB Celebration.”

He will also be available to meet visitors throughout the day on the Zerofit stand, giving showgoers the chance to chat with him about his travels and latest project.

Motorcycle Live 2026 runs from 21 to 29 November at Birmingham's NEC, with 48 motorcycle manufacturers expected to be represented alongside displays, features and activities.

Among the other attractions this year will be the 30th anniversary BSB display, a collection of motorcycles from the Moulsdale Foundation and a new Show and Shine event with The Biker Lawyers.

For Boorman, though, the North West 200 will be the main attraction, bringing the story of one of road racing's best-known events to a new audience at the UK's biggest indoor motorcycle show.
