Overall Review

A brilliant bike for those slightly vertically challenged or looking for an easier ride on the green lanes. It only has one centrally located radiator so as well as being light it also has a very slim profile. Which has obvious advantages plus the radiator is protected by the forks and tank.

Strengths

As expected very light and responsive. It has only a 6 ltr. fuel tank but uses so little fuel you can do a full mornings ride without the low fuel light coming on, telling you the 1 Ltr. reserve has been reached. It has a slightly lower seat height than other KTM's but still has the ground clearance for even the deepest ruts. The fuel injection gives a smooth power delivery and starts readily even when its been dropped.

Weaknesses

Needed a few mods for my green lane use. Front sprocket given one more tooth (13) to drop the revs when on the road. Exhaust cans relieved of some baffles and the air cleaner opened up to liberate some more horsepower. Plus a pair of Enduro tyres for grip in the mud.
