Overall Review

For the money you will be hard pushed to find a bike of this quality. Chinese bikes have taken a bashing over the years, but the are finally getting things right. It's the perfect bike to buy second hand too as all the niggles will have been well and truly sorted, but ensure it has a full DEALER service history. I really enjoy riding this bike and do a 60 mile round commute 5 days a week, the most I have to do is adjust the chain tension. Low money, Good spec, Great bike, highly under rated!!! Look out big name brands!!!

Strengths

This bike is great value for your money. OTR price is around £1499, which is almost half that of a 125 from the big names. The ride is very comfortable and the position feels very natural. If you are looking to move on to bigger bikes then this will be a great starting point as it's bigger and slightly heavier than other bikes. Parts are cheap to buy and the bike is very easy to work on yourself (once outside the warranty). A full service is around £70. The bike is also smooth due to the balancer shaft.

Weaknesses

The bike will need a lot of checking over during the first 1500km as it is assembled at the dealer. Nuts and screws will be vulnerable to vibration, but a spot of thread lock will help. Make sure you are near a dealer as the servicing periods can come around quite quickly, but you need them to stay within the warranty. The top speed is more like 55mph, and there are no after market 'mods' that can be carried out to increase the performance.

Overall Review

People keep saying this bike will only do 55mph, yes... in 5th gear. Keep it in 4th and it'll build up to 70mph on a good day. Overall this bike is great for a first bike and certainly doesn't back up all the 'chinese' related alligations. Proper maintenance and the bike is adequate.

Strengths

This bike is a great bike for a learner, depending on if you find the cruiser style riding position comfortable or not - I personally think it is very comfortable but keep in mind it limits how much fun you can have on the twisties... not to give off the impression this can't be used for fun. I have rode this bike for over a year on a daily basis to work and back, in blistering sun and baltic icy conditions and have only had issues caused by myself and my lack of knowledge on maintaining a bike. Overall a good bike.

Weaknesses

Ofcourse it isn't as fast as I would like it to be but what do you expect with a 125. Some minor build quality issues such as the plastic tank cover surrounding the petrol cap has cracked and the seal around it was never looking like it was done with pride. Blame the dealership more than the bike in this case.
