The provisional 2026 WorldSBK calendar has been confirmed

A total of 12 rounds and 36 races will again make up the 2026 WorldSBK calendar, which includes very little changes.

The provisional 2026 WorldSBK calendar has been revealed, and while there’s been a reshuffle, there are no new venues added.

Unlike MotoGP - which recently confirmed its new calendar with a couple of changes, including a new round in Brazil and no Argentinian Grand Prix - WorldSBK will keep the same 12 rounds as last year, albeit in a slightly different order.

The season-opener will once again take place at Phillip Island, Australia, on February 20-22. The Portuguese round at Portimao will then follow on March 27-29, before Assen in the Netherlands makes up round three on April 17-19.

However, round four will no longer be the Italian round at Cremona, as this year’s debutant in WorldSBK, the Balaton Park circuit, in Hungary, will now take over that spot.

For racing fans in the UK, Donington Park will be the eighth round of the season, after dropping one spot compared to this year. The British round is scheduled for July 10-12.

Cremona will follow two rounds later, before the season ends with a penultimate round in Estoril and the season-finale at Jerez.

The 2026 season will take place without the series’ biggest star, Toprak Razgatlioglu, who is moving to MotoGP.

That will likely hurt the championship’s appeal for some fans, however, the championship could potentially benefit from a MotoGP rider or two switching to WorldSBK. More on this will become clear in the coming weeks.
