Triumph and its new TF 450-E have been crowned AMA EnduroCross champions at the first time of asking after Jonny Walker took the enduro machine to the title.

Walker was a model of consistency throughout the six-round series, which he began in fine style by clinching the overall win during the season-opener in Arizona.

A constant podium finisher, Walker enjoyed his best round in Reno, Nevada, where he clinched a hat-trick of event wins. That was followed by another two wins at the final round, which gave him the overall series win ahead of KTM’s Trystan Hart, despite both riders finishing on the same points tally of 141.

The series win for Walker and the new TF 450-E is a major one, as it marks the biggest achievement to date for Triumph in American indoor off-road racing.

After securing the overall series win in Everett, Washington, a delighted Jonny Walker said:

“We’ve just finished up here in Everett to take the championship win! I managed to go 1-1-2 on a super tough track, even after some mistakes which put me on the back foot to start off with. I won the first race despite starting on the second row which gave me the confidence to take the win in the second race, too.

“I knew I only had to finish second in the final moto to secure the championship, and I would have liked to have won of course, but I broke my gear lever off which made things tougher. I’m really stoked on how the championship has unfolded – finishing first or second at every round – so it feels great to have the title under my belt now. I can’t wait to go head-first into SuperEnduro in a few weeks’ time!”

The Triumph TF 450-E was launched back in March and it is powered by a single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that produces 57.8bhp and 36.3Ib ft of torque. Its fully adjustable KYB 48mm front forks are paired with a three-way adjustable linkage-driven rear suspension.

Next up for the Triumph Factory Racing Enduro Team is the opening round of the 2026 FIM SuperEnduro World Championship, which takes place in Gliwice, Poland, on 13 December.
