Tommy Bridewell’s debut season in WorldSBK will lead to him racing a Ducati Panigale V4 R dressed in a special Union Jack livery next month.

Bridewell will race the special livery as part of his home round at Donington Park, with the new design created as a celebration of the team’s Anglo-Australian identity.

Originally set to compete in BSB this season, Bridewell and the Superbike Advocates Racing team made a late decision to pull out of the British series, and instead join WorldSBK from the second round at Portimao.

After using the first few rounds to find his feet, Bridewell has since emerged as a consistent top ten finisher in recent rounds. The breakthrough in form began at round five of the season (Bridewell’s fourth race weekend of the campaign), with an eighth place finish in the Superpole Race at Most, in the Czech Republic.

Since then, Bridewell has been a top ten finisher in four out of the last seven races, highlighting the improvements made in recent rounds.

Speaking about the team’s new Union Jack-inspired livery, Superbike Advocates Racing team owner, Lecha Khouri, said:

“Donington is a special place for our team and one that we have been looking forward to all season. We wanted to create something that celebrated our British heritage while also recognising the incredible support we have received from fans throughout the United Kingdom.

“This livery represents who we are. We are proud of our Anglo-Australian identity, proud to be racing Ducati machinery at the highest level, and proud to compete on the world stage.”

Bridewell’s home round will take place on July 10-12, and it will be the final round before the WorldSBK summer break.
