Royal Enfield’s all-electric Flying Flea has undergone rugged incline testing in India
Royal Enfield has been busy testing out the capabilities of its new Flying Flea electric motorcycle in India.

Royal Enfield’s development of the new Flying Flea electric motorcycle has continued, with the C6 model taking part in a tough incline test.
As is often the case with teasers of new motorcycles in India, the bikes were kept fully under wraps, but we do at least have some sort of idea of the bike’s potential across different terrains.
As part of the test, Royal Enfield sent a couple of bikes to the Indian mountains with riders trying out the different riding modes as part of the incline test. Feedback from the riders seemed positive in Eco mode, whether that was riding uphill, downhill, or even with a pillion on the back of the small-framed bike. Sport mode was also well received when riding across the same roads.
We’re still waiting for all the hard and fast specs of the FF-C6, and while they are still not 100 per cent known, its electric powertrain seems to be developing well. According to the teaser video, one rider said the bike showed no signs of ‘lag’ when riding the steep roads.
What we do know is that both models are built around the same power unit, forged aluminium frame, and magnesium battery case. The two bikes also feature the same girder front forks design.
Royal Enfield first showed its new Flying Flea C6 to the world at the 2024 EICMA show, in Milan, which is currently one-half of a two-bike line-up in RE’s sub-brand. The other model is the FF-S6, which is also still undergoing development ahead of its release in 2026, expected to be shortly after the C6 arrives on the market.
