Kramer’s KTM Super Duke Race Kit is here – and it means business
If KTM’s Super Duke is a little too road-friendly for your tastes, Kramer’s long-awaited Race Kit turns the 1290 and 1390 into a fully fledged track weapon.

You may remember last summer that we reported on Kramer releasing the first images of its Super Duke Race Kit, which turns your Super Duke into a sports bike. Well, it’s here, and it’s every bit as awesome as you’d expect.
The Race Kit comes pretty much plug-and-play, although given the number of elements that change, don’t expect this to be a two-hour job in the garage.
The first images of the kit only showed the various fairing elements. Today, though, Kramer has sent us some images showing the completed bike, it’s also confirmed a few of the kit's key features and track-focused intricacies.
Designed for KTM’s 1290 and 1390 Super Duke models from 2020 onwards, the Kramer Race Kit has been engineered as a proper, purpose-built conversion rather than a styling exercise. Aerodynamics are central to the redesign, with an optimised windscreen and body profile that trades naked-bike bravado for stability and efficiency at speed.

The fairings themselves are built from GFK fibreglass, reinforced with carbon Kevlar where it matters, and finished with aero elements and quick-release fastenings. Despite the transformation, the kit remains compatible with the standard 1290/1390 radiator and exhaust systems, which helps to keep complexity in check.

Aside from the obvious fairings, one of the biggest changes comes via the fuel tank – or rather, the absence of the original one. Kramer replaces KTM’s slightly bulkier tank with a 22-litre, crash-resistant XPE racing tank that effectively becomes the seat base. The result is a lower, more natural riding position, with 20mm of seat height adjustment as standard and the option of an additional +40mm seat pad for those who prefer a bit more room. The new design means more space for the rider, more fuel onboard, a lower centre of gravity, and a riding position that’ll make sense on track.
Included as part of the kit are clip-on racing handlebars, adjustable rearsets, an optimised racing linkage and a dedicated RAM-air duct, all working together to shift the Super Duke firmly out of streetfighter territory and into something far more focused. A single-piece dashboard carrier and CNC-machined top triple clamp complete the cockpit overhaul, while revised levers and the all-new fairing package tie the whole conversion together very nicely indeed.

For those wanting to go a step further, Kramer also offers optional extras, including an upgraded radiator to keep temperatures in check beneath those newly installed fairings. This element can be fitted independently of the full kit. Riders can also opt for front and rear aerodynamic wings, like the ones seen in the images. Because if you’re going this far, you might as well go all in.
The price for the kit is €6,990 (which is around £6,000) plus VAT, and more information can be found on the official website.
