Toseland hospitalised but OK following Race Two crash

FOLLOWING A SCINTILLATING second place in Race One at Monza WSB, Sterilgarda Yamaha rider James Toseland was hospitalised following a first corner pile-up in Race Two.

The former double World Superbike Champion was left with 'light concussion' following the crash; Toseland remained conscious throughout the first-corner accident but was taken to hospital for a CTI scan, according to reports on Toseland's personal website.

Despite the setback, Toseland remains in fifth position in the championship with 106 points. Team-mate Cal Crutchlow lies in tenth position on 65 points.
