QJMotor reveals SRT 600 S for UK market
QJMotor unveils its new adventure tourer/all-rounder, packed with goodies and offered at an incredibly tempting price.

QJMotor’s expansion into the UK market continues with the introduction of its enticingly affordable SRT 600 S adventure tourer/all-rounder.
With styling that is - to our eyes, at least - a mesh of the Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250, first-gen Honda VFR800X, and current-gen Yamaha Tracer 9, the bike promises “a high specification chassis, large fuel capacity,” and (for a limited time, at least) a three-piece luggage set-up as standard.
Driven by a 554cc parallel twin engine with a V-twin-like 270-degree firing order, the SRT 600 S claims peak outputs of 55 bhp at 8250 rpm, and 40 lb-ft of torque at 5,500 rpm.
Seat height is a relatively accommodating 830 mm and, from the photos, at least, the bike looks comfortable enough to be able to burn through the whole of its 20.5-litre tank without your needing to stop and stretch your legs. Whereas 17-inch wheels front and back mean that QJMotor intends for you to keep this adventure-styled machine on the road.

Suspension consists of “adjustable Marzocchi upside down front forks and an oil-damped monoshock,” according to QJMotor. Four piston calipers grip two 320mm brake discs up front, with a 260mm disc at the rear. Maxxis MaxxVenture tyres keep you connected to the tarmac.
QJMotor is the house brand of Qianjiang Motorcycle Group, which owns Benelli, Morbidelli, and Keeway, among others. It’s been around for a while, but didn’t enter the UK market until this summer. As you would expect from a modern Chinese brand, the SRT 600 S is dripping with tech that belies its asking price.
That includes two ride modes and switchable traction control. A 7-inch TFT screen offers all the information you could want and more, including tyre pressure monitoring and turn-by-turn navigation via an app you have to download to your phone. Cue our usual grumble that these set-ups never actually work as they should. At least not in Britain, where our mobile network remains too spotty.

You get full LED lighting, which includes standard-fit auxiliary lights. Hand guards, engine and frame crash bars, a bash plate, and an exhaust protector also come standard. As do a centrestand, heated grips, a heated seat, and both a 12-volt and USB socket.
The three-piece luggage as standard is for a limited time only, says QJMotor. After this initial promotion ends, you’ll have to pay extra for that.
And the price for all this? £4,699 - plus £200 on the road charges.
We have to admit we’re intrigued by this thing. It seems particularly good value - especially in light of the fact that most Benelli owners report being quite happy with their bikes, and the SRT 600 S comes with a two-year unlimited mileage warranty.
