Shoei announce Marc Marquez Motegi replica helmet

Shoei has announced it is to release a replica of the motorcycle helmet he wore for the 2018 Motegi MotoGP round

Shoei X-Spirit III Marc Marquez Motegi Replica

MOTORCYCLE helmet giants Shoei have announced they are to release a replica of the lid worn by the five-time world champion at the 2018 Motegi round of the MotoGP world championship.

The design is printed on the top of the range X-Spirit III and features gold decals and a stylised version of his ant motif on the crown of the helmet. The rear of the lid features a rather cute image of the Maneki-neko (more commonly called the beckoning cat), for reasons yet to be understood riding in a sailing boat! The cats' inclusion is supposed to bring the owner of it good luck in life, it certainly worked in 2018 as MM93 finished 1.5sec clear of 2nd placed Crutchlow!

The X-Spirit III is honed on the racetrack, with support from MotoGP riders the helmet has awesome aerodynamic performance, even at high speeds over 180mph. Even the interior of the lid is developed with speed in mind, with vents and aerofoils that are designed to keep a rider ventilated.  The latest X-Spirit III.

We have no official release date the MM93 replica, but it’d be safe to assume it’s release will coincide with the 2019 Motegi round of the MotoGP which takes place on August 4th. We also have no word on price at this time, but can guess it’ll be around the same price as the ultra-limited run X-Spirit III Trooper edition that Peter Hickman wore at the TT (£799.99). We'll bring you more details of the product's release as we have it.

Marc Marquez currently leads the MotoGP World Championship from Andrea Dovisiozo by a massive 58 points. If he retains his title this year it'll be his sixth world championship crown.
