Honda XL750 Transalp, SW-Motech accessories

New add-ons have been released for the Honda XL750 Transalp and Honda CB750 Hornet by SW-Motech and Ventura.

The new SW-Motech range for the Honda XL750 Transalp includes luggage, protection, and ergonomic add-ons.

Beginning with the protective accessories, SW-Motech now offers an Engine Crash Bar for £212.51, constructed with powder-coated steel. It fits to existing mounting points on the bike, and helps protect the motorcycle’s fairing and radiator.

To protect the lower casings and downpipes, there is the 4mm-thick Engine Guard for £249.48, which is available in either black or silver, while a new Handguard Mounting Kit is compatible with handguards from Kobra and BBStorm.

Ergonomically, SW-Motech has the Evo Footrest Kit, with 36 levels of adjustment, a removable rubber contact pad, and a price of £134.95. SW-Motech also says that it will soon be launching a pedal extender for the rear brake, as well as a sidestand extender for the Transalp.

For luggage, SW-Motech now offers its Pro Tank Ring (£32.95) for the XL750, which itself allows for easier attachment of the 14-litre Pro City Tank Bag (£196.96).

Larger options come in the form of hard panniers. Here, the SW-Motech Trax Adv Aluminium Cases are available in black or silver, and in either 37-litre or 45-litre sizes. Pro Side Carriers must be used to attach the panniers, and a full 45-litre kit for the Transalp costs £1,016.40.

Head to the SW-Motech website to browse their full range.

The Honda CB750 Hornet’s newest additional luggage options come from Ventura, although SW-Motech also released their own accessories for the new Honda sports naked recently.

Ventura offers its Evo System for the Hornet, which uses L-brackets (£172.95) to attach to existing mounting points. Ventura’s Evo Rack (£96.95) then slots into the L-bracket, and allows the attached Pack to be mounted either on top of the pillion seat, or behind it, depending on whether the rider is carrying a passenger.

The Packs themselves have glove-friendly zips and wide-opening lids, while sizes range from 12 to 60 litres and prices varying depending on the size chosen.

The full range of Ventura products, including the new luggage options for the Honda CB750 Hornet, can be viewed on the Ventura website.
