Prince William visits Norfolk Blood Bikes and admits he still rides
The Prince of Wales has revealed he's still getting out on two wheels, despite previously saying fatherhood had curbed his riding habits.

Prince William has confirmed that he still rides motorcycles, revealing during a visit to a Blood Bikes charity that he occasionally heads out on two wheels "quietly" and even in "disguise".
The admission came while the Prince of Wales was visiting Norfolk Blood Bikes, a volunteer-run organisation that uses motorcycles to transport blood, medical supplies and other urgent items for the NHS. During the visit, William was shown around the charity's fleet and helped unveil a vehicle donated by himself and Princess Kate.
For motorcyclists, though, the standout moment came when charity chairman Sandy Gourlay referenced William's long-standing love of bikes.
"I know you're a keen biker as well," Gourlay told the prince.
To which William replied, "I love a bike, I do still ride now and again, quietly." When asked how he manages to avoid attention, William added the single word, "Disguise."

The revelation will come as welcome news to riders who have followed William's motorcycle journey over the years. The future king has long been associated with Ducati machinery, having previously owned a Ducati 1198S and was famously rumoured to have slipped a first-generation Ducati Diavel onto his wedding gift list. William passed his motorcycle test at 19 and was regularly photographed arriving at polo matches on two wheels.

His enthusiasm for motorcycles has, however, been tempered by family life. Speaking in previous years, William admitted that becoming a father had led him to scale back his riding, while Kate has publicly acknowledged that his motorcycling hobby "fills her with horror".

The comments came during a visit that also shone a spotlight on the work carried out by Blood Bikes volunteers across the UK. The organisations use trained motorcyclists to transport blood products, breast milk, laboratory samples and medical equipment between hospitals, often operating overnight and helping save the NHS significant transport costs.
