Oxford unveils Mint Cleaning XL bike care kit
It’s bike-cleaning season and Oxford offers an all-in-one way to keep the muck off your pride and joy.
Oxford Products has unveiled an all-in-one bike cleaning kit, with everything you need to keep your machine muck-free during the grimiest months.
The Mint Cleaning Kit XL has everything you need, down to a special glove that looks as if it has been ripped off a Muppet.
Mint is Oxford’s own line of bike-cleaning products. According to Oxford, it “is safe on paintwork, metal surfaces, plastics, rubber and carbon fibre and leaves a non-streaky finish. It, of course, features a clean, minty scent.”
Key features of the kit include:
Mint Chain Cleaner, which Oxford says is “extremely effective at dissolving and washing away contaminated chain lube and the build-up of oil and dirt on your chain.”
Mint Bike Degreaser: “Effective at dissolving and washing away grease and oily residues.”
Mint Brake Cleaner: “Remove any build-up of brake dust and dirt”
20-litre wash bucket: Includes a “grit guard” to keep muck from getting back onto a sponge.
Mint Bike Wash: “Specially formulated to remove dirt and grime quickly.”

Microfibre noodle wash glove: Looks like you’ve done something unspeakable to a children’s TV character. Really just helps in gentle cleaning.
