Nolan adds new Andrea Iannone helmets to its line-up
Nolan has revealed a new Andrea Iannone helmet design across two models, one of which is the brand’s track-focused X-804 RS UC lid.
Italian helmet maker Nolan and Andrea Iannone have revealed a new design across two lids, which include the X-804 RS UC and N60-S Sport models.
Although the two helmets differ in their design and shape, detailing across both is the same, as a phoenix bird sits on the crown of the helmet with flames running along the sides. On the back of both helmets is the message “Like a Phoenix I Rise From the Ashes”, which likely means two things.

Firstly, a phoenix is a legendary bird from Greek mythology that could regenerate itself, and therefore the message above sums up the immortal bird’s powers. However, focusing on Iannone’s career, it’s fair to assume the Italian may have chosen this message because of his doping ban in 2019, before making his return to racing in WorldSBK, in 2024.
Of the two helmets, the X-804 RS UC is Nolan’s more track-focussed lid and this replica design is almost identical to the one used by Iannone in the world championship. It is made with a carbon fibre shell, while also featuring an Ultrawide, scratch resistant visor with increased top and lateral visibility.
It gets an Racetrack Aerodynamic Spoiler (RAS) which can be removed, as can the chin straps, while the helmet also features a breath deflector. Additionally, the X-804 RS UC lid can be paired with a Camel Bag Hydration System.
The helmet is available to buy now for a retail price of £649.99, with sizes ranging from 2XS to 3XL.
While also part of the sport line-up, the N60-S Sport helmet is more tailored for use on the road. It is equipped with a large Ultrawide panoramic visor, an Airbooster Technology ventilation system and Clima Comfort interiors that are made with eco-sustainable materials, according to Nolan.
Like the X-804 edition, the N60-S model’s visor is scratch-resistant, and is Pinlock ready with anti-fog treatment. The N60-S Sport helmet is also available in sizes 2XS to 3XL, with a UK price of £249.99.
