Ruroc unveils new Pennywise EOX IT helmet in time for Halloween
Ruroc has introduced a new EOX helmet to its range, using Stephen King’s Pennywise character as inspiration.

Just days after going into administration and being saved by itself, Ruroc has unveiled a new helmet just in time for Halloween.
If you’re not up to date, Ruroc Limited recently went into administration before Tytan PG Limited rescued the company by buying its assets. However, where this gets slightly confusing is that Tytan PG Limited is owned by Ruroc Global Holdings Limited. So yes, Ruroc effectively went under only to immediately buy itself back.

Now, despite the seemingly murky position Ruroc has found itself in of late, it has not pressed pause on producing new helmet designs.
Enter the EOX IT lid which is complete with a terrifying graphic that switches from Pennywise’s devilish grin to a toothy grimace. The helmet is based on Stephen King’s 1986 horror novel IT where Pennywise the Dancing Clown was the main antagonist.

The new helmet features a multi-density impact liner and Quad-Matrix carbon composite shell that meets ECE 22.06 and DOT standards. Ruroc says it has been “aerodynamically engineered for all-day comfort”, and can be paired with the brand’s Shockwave mesh communication system, which is powered by Cardo.
Speaking about the new helmet, Daniele Caruso, Head of Design at Ruroc, said:
“We brought Pennywise from the Maine sewers to the open road. This design is made to turn heads and send chills, but like every Ruroc helmet, it keeps protection and performance front and center.”
Additionally, the officially licensed IT Chapter 2 helmet has been developed in collaboration with Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. It is currently on sale at a price of £499.
