Nexx reveals new X.Rally adventure helmet
Nexx might just have turned heads with its new ultra-lightweight helmet, the X.Rally.

Nexx has seemingly bridged the gap between adventure riding and hard enduro with its all-new X.Rally lid.
Where style meets safety, and lightweight meets comfort, Nexx’ new X-Rally is not a one trick pony in any way, as it also gets a fully FIM Racing FRHPhe-02-homologated sibling.
The non-race-homologated version comes with a price of €749.99, which for us in the UK will be around £650, while the race-approved lid gets a slightly more expensive figure of €899.99. That’s about £790.
Starting with the new helmet’s weight, Nexx lists the X.Rally at 1350g, which is 375g lighter than the Portuguese company’s X.Wed3 adventure lid. That’s if you choose the X-Pro Carbon flavour, as the X.Matrix2 comes with a slightly heavier 1475g due to its six-layer outer shell.
The new X.Rally features an abundance of ventilation, with nine inlets and six exhaust ports. It also gets the traditional double-d ring locking system, removable chin strap covers, removable and washable lining and night time reflectors.

But what’s very neat about this new helmet is the X-Foam crash bumpers. Nexx says it’s “made from ultra-lightweight EPP foam, are engineered to cover the entire bottom trim - including the chin area - effectively absorbing impact energy, softening crash forces, and reducing the risk of collarbone injuries”.
The helmet also features an integrated Air Cumbs Cooling Chamber, which “delivers intelligent thermal regulation and sustains comfort under any condition”, according to Nexx.
More information about the helmet, as well as the different colour options can be found on the official Nexx website.
