The new CFMoto 450NK is yet another entry to the Chinese brand's naked range, bridging the gap between the 300NK and 650NK.

CFMoto describes the 450NK as its entry-level naked option. What exactly that means for the smaller 300NK is unclear, but the 450 is of course a step-up in performance compared to the 300.
The 450NK out-performs the 300NK in every motor-related aspect, with almost 20 more horsepower (46.3hp - or 34.9kW - to be precise) and 14.3Nm of additional torque (39.3Nm in total for the 450).
The 450 also ups the cylinder count from one to two and its name almost precisely designates the displacement of the engine, which is a 449cc water-cooled unit adhering to Euro5 standards. The engine also uses a 270-degree crankshaft, which CFMoto says “delivers output characteristics similar to that found in V-twin engines, producing a throaty engine note and impressive throttle response.” A double balance shaft setup is also used in an attempt to smooth the engine out.
The 450NK’s kerb weight of 165kg also puts it in competitive territory. The Honda CB500F, for example, has a displacement advantage of 21cc on the CFMoto, and slightly better performance statistics (43Nm to the 450NK’s 39Nm, 46.9hp to the 450NK’s 46.3hp). But, its 189kg kerb weight puts it almost 25kg more than the 450NK.
That kind of weight advantage is going to make a difference not only when leaving a corner, but also when facing one.
When approaching a bend, the rider will call on J.Juan 320mm front disc. The Spanish firm also provides the rear system, utilising a 220mm rotor. ABS is also present at both ends of the 450NK.
Other rider aids include traction control, and a slipper clutch comes as standard.
Rolling on 17-inch wheels, CST AS5s are used to connect the bike to the road, with 37mm front forks and a single rear shock both providing 130mm of wheel travel.
Ergonomically, the 450NK is equipped with a 5-inch TFT display, through which connectivity to the CFMoto Ride app can be managed. The display also incorporates shift lights and simple navigation projection. There is also the option to add a reserve USB-C or USB-A charging port.
The CFMoto 450NK will be available in two colours - Nebula White and Zephyr Blue - and will retail for £4,990 OTR. Availability is not yet confirmed.
