HIGH tech bike maker Arc Vehicle is heralding its move into the United States of America with two hyper-exclusive Founder’s Signature Edition versions of its Arc Vector electric motorcycle.
Like the already announced Vector available in the UK, the Founder’s Edition bikes for the US feature a carbon fibre monocoque frame, although, unlike the bikes we already have, this model is dripping with forged carbon fibre bodywork, with the wheels, body panels, and even mudguards being made from the high-tech and lightweight material.
The carbon fibre is offset with rose gold paint detailing, etched leather grips and seat along with black and copper stitching, with Öhlins black suspension and a unique chimney plate. As the name suggests, each of the two machines will also bear the name of the founder of the company and the bike’s designer, Mark Truman.
Speaking about the limited edition machines, Truman said:
“We are thrilled to be launching in North America and so wanted to do something extraordinary to mark the occasion. In terms of specification, I really wanted to throw the kitchen sink at it and push the levels of personalisation and create something truly bespoke. It’s an honour to be part of Arc, it’s such a magical business, so to have my name on two of the bikes feels incredibly special.”
Each new owner of a Vector gets a bespoke fitting for the bike, as they are invited to Arc's HQ to finalise the position of the footpegs, handlebars and other controls. On top of this, Arc endeavours to allow for free choice of colour and materials choices are included, within reason, in the standard price range.
