This month’s Dutch Grand Prix can be watched from the Outernet entertainment district in London, as part of MotoGP’s first immersive watch party in the city.

The event will be the first of its kind for MotoGP, and has been created in partnership with TNT Sports, which is the official streaming platform for MotoGP in the UK.

Fans will be treated to 360-degree race coverage on Sunday, June 28, in what “will be the first of a number of MotoGP activations at Outernet and across the UK this summer”, according to MotoGP.

The watch party will be open to the public throughout the day, and will combine live race coverage with exclusive MotoGP content. Outernet, which claims to be the UK’s most visited cultural attraction in the UK, welcomes around 120 million people annually.

Kelly Brittain, Managing Director of Global Marketing at MotoGP, said this about the upcoming event:

“This is about reimagining how fans experience MotoGP. Outernet gives us the opportunity to take the sport beyond the circuit and into the heart of a global city, creating a fully immersive environment where fans can feel the speed, intensity and emotion of race day in a completely new way. It’s an exciting step in how we continue to grow MotoGP’s reach and connect with new audiences in an important market.”

For those of you that are interested in experiencing MotoGP in this unique way, it will be useful to know that the Outernet is located in the heart of central London, close to Tottenham Court Road. Additionally, the Dutch Grand Prix will get underway at 1pm BST (British Summer Time).

“As the official broadcaster of MotoGP in the UK, we're delighted to partner with MotoGP and Outernet to give fans a unique way to experience the Dutch Grand Prix in London. MotoGP consistently delivers some of the most spectacular and unpredictable action in global sport, and this event is a great example of how we can bring that excitement to audiences beyond the traditional broadcast.”

MotoGP’s UK watch party will be followed by the British Grand Prix at Silverstone later in the summer, which takes place on August 7-9.
