Macna brings new Bluetooth heated grips to the market

Macna’s heated kit range now features all-new Bluetooth heated grips, which do more than just warm your hands.

Macna has added completely new Bluetooth-connected heated grips to its range, in what it calls a ‘world’s first’ system.

The new grips have been “developed over a period of 3 years”, says Macna, which are unique in their design, ergonomics, and internal technology, according to the heated gear specialists.

The Bluetooth heated grips are the company’s latest innovation, and they work by connecting to your phone through the Macna heated app, which provides full control over all your gear.

That means you can adjust heating levels to the required settings on the screen of your phone, instead of trying to fiddle around with control buttons on the handlebars, especially if you’re wearing gloves.

By doing this through the app, which is free to download in both Google Play and iOS App Store, riders can group pieces of gear together. This allows your entire body to get warm simultaneously if you wish, instead of individualised items of clothing.

The clever system also lets you set timers, so if you’ve had a long day in the saddle or are riding home at night, you won’t need to worry about saving a bit of heat late on.

Like much of the company’s heated clothing range, the Bluetooth grips come with four different heating levels, which range from 40 per cent to 100 per cent. This is made clear by each level having a different colour.

The grips can be paired with Macna’s heated gloves, giving you the best of both worlds. They are also available without Bluetooth connectivity.

According to Macna, “the grips have a weatherproof unibody made of rubber-like TPR that is durable and able to absorb vibrations. They are fitted with grip texture for improved grip, and the buttons are integrated to maintain a smooth look.”
