LiveWire, Harley-Davidson’s electric offshoot, has just announced a three-pronged push to get more riders onto its battery-powered bikes, with lower prices, new markets added, and fresh features all on the cards.

Twist & Go Promotion: cheaper electric LiveWires

The big news is the Twist & Go Promotion, which sees hefty discounts slapped across the entire S2 range. The deal runs from 28 August to 31 October 2025, or until stock dries up. The headline prices now look like this:

  • S2 Del Mar & S2 Del Mar LE – from £8,799
  • S2 Mulholland – from £9,699
  • S2 Alpinista – from £10,599

That’s a serious cut compared to what these bikes launched at, and LiveWire will be hoping it’s enough to tempt more riders into making the switch.

H3>New features: reverse and roll-forward regen

Every S2 owner, whether new or existing, will also receive a free software update. The update adds Reverse, to help with low-speed manoeuvring, and Roll-Forward Regenerative Braking, which lets the bike creep forward with regen engaged. Both features are designed to make stop-start city riding a little less cumbersome.

Seven new European markets

Finally, LiveWire is opening shop in Spain, Italy, Poland, Finland, Belgium, Portugal, and Luxembourg. That’s on top of the existing presence in the UK, France, Germany, the Netherlands, and Switzerland.

With the expansion, LiveWire’s full lineup – the ONE, S2 Del Mar, S2 Mulholland, and S2 Alpinista – will now be available through more dealers, with proper customer support and servicing.

Lower prices, useful new tech, and a wider European reach: LiveWire is clearly serious about scaling up its electric future, or it’s trying to shift some bikes which, in recent months especially, has been extremely difficult for electric-only brands. Whether cheaper tags and extra features are enough to spark real demand remains to be seen, but the timing suggests the company knows it needs to fight hard for space in a crowded, yet sceptical market.
