Bajaj Mobility AG has released its annual financial report for 2025, and it’s good news for KTM as motorcycle sales increased, while debt was reduced.

KTM’s well-documented financial problems began in the second half of 2024 and persisted throughout 2025. Unsurprisingly, the Austrian company endured a topsy-turvy year-and-a-half as a result, as it entered self-administration, let go of hundreds of employees, paused motorcycle production on two different occasions, and needed the help of creditors and Bajaj Auto to help it regain some sort of control.

However, the 2025 annual report shows that KTM is well on its way to a brighter future. There are still hurdles that the company will need to overcome, but according to the report, motorcycle sales increased by approximately 60 per cent in the second half of 2025 compared with the first half of the year.

In terms of the numbers, Bajaj Mobility AG reported revenue of €1.009 billion for the year, while 209,704 motorcycles were sold.

KTM’s new owners also confirmed an EBITDA (Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortisation) total of €874 million, while net profit came in at €590 million. Additionally, EBIT was €748 million. Net debt was reduced by €798 million and inventories dropped by 101,153 units.

Despite all of the challenges KTM went through, particularly in 2025, the Mattighofen-based company achieved its most successful season in racing, winning a total of 29 titles. That included 17 rider championships and 12 FIM manufacturer titles.

There had been speculation that KTM could pull out of MotoGP for 2026 due to the financial issues it was going through. However, that never materialised, and KTM has instead proved to be one of the most competitive brands through the first two MotoGP rounds so far this year, with Pedro Acosta sitting in third spot in the rider’s standings.
