Isle of Man TT rider hospitalised after Senior TT incident
The Senior TT race has been rescheduled for Saturday, 6 June, following an incident on lap two which has left a rider in hospital.

An Isle of Man TT rider is reported to be “conscious and talking” following an incident in the Senior TT, which caused the four-lap race to be stopped before organisers confirmed a schedule change ahead of Saturday, 6 June.
The incident occurred on lap two of the race, which was being dominated by Superbike TT winner Dean Harrison. The Honda Racing UK rider was leading Peter Hickman by more than 15 seconds when the red flags were waved.

The rider has not yet been named, after the incident happened at the 11th Milestone, according to a statement from the Isle of Man TT organisers which said:
“A red flag was issued due to an incident at the 11th Milestone during the second lap of the Milwaukee Senior TT.
“The competitor involved at the time of issue is reported as conscious and talking, and has been taken to Noble's Hospital via Airmed for further assessment and treatment.
"The Clerk of the Course has confirmed that once the management of the incident concludes, the available time remaining within the road closure period would not permit a restart of the Milwaukee Senior TT at a 4-lap race distance.
"The Milwaukee Senior TT will now be rescheduled for Saturday 05 June."
With less than 50 per cent of the race completed, a final result could not be declared. The Senior TT has now been given a new start time of 12pm BST on Saturday. However, the rescheduled race has come at the expense of the second Superstock race, as it stands, which is set to be followed by Race 2 of the Sportbike class.
Race 1 of the Sportbike class took place on Friday afternoon following the second Supersport race, which was won by Michael Dunlop. The road racing legend completed a Friday clean sweep when he secured victory in the Sportbike class by more than 28 seconds ahead of Mike Browne.

Dunlop now has 36 TT wins to his name as his record-breaking run shows little sign of slowing down, especially in the smaller classes.
