TWO mid-weight A2 challengers from Kawasaki can now be blessed with some gold anodised loveliness in the from of the STX 36 rear shock absorber.

The two bikes getting the new kit are the Kawasaki Ninja 250 (now discontinued in the UK) and the current Kawasaki Ninja 400 sports bikes.

Kawasaki Z H2 review

Adding the Öhlins STX 36 to your Ninja 250 or your 400 will provide an almost instant and major suspension upgrade for the already capable machine. Delivering new levels of stability, precision and safety thanks to the systems monotube construction and high-pressure and piggyback reservoir. Not only that, they’ll make the bike look pretty sweet too thanks to the iconic combo of gold anodising and bright yellow suspension spring.

The secret of the STX technology is its internal temperature compensation, adjusting the system’s performance to compensate for changes caused by temperature. The result is a more stable shock absorber regardless of how hard you ride or how hot you bike gets – proper high performance kit I’m sure you’ll agree!

For those looking for the ultimate apex-hunting A2 weapon, you can even splurge you pocket money on the Öhlins FSK 133 spring upgrade kit to improve the front end feel of the bike too.

Johnny Bräster, marketing and product manager at Öhlins commented:

“The Ninja 250 and 400 are leaders in the supersport category and we’re excited to offer our latest technologies for these bikes to further enhance the riding experience.”
