A huge and eclectic collection of bikes, quads and memorabilia is heading to auction
One of the largest and most eclectic auctions of bikes, parts and memorabilia is heading over the auction block in January 2026.

We cover auctions here on Visordown because they often throw up some weird and wonderful machines. Never, though, have we found an auction that features such an eclectic mix of machines - with many of them still in their shipping crates!
This particular sale is being handled by H. J. Pugh and Co. and is taking place in Ledbury on January 17, 2026, starting at 11 am. And when I say this is an eclectic collection, I really mean it! There are 93 lots in the sale, and items on offer range from still-crated, zero-mile Japanese bikes, race bikes, mini bikes – including some very rare Honda Dax and Monkey models – to lots and lots of dirt bikes. There are also jet skis, quad bikes, garage mats and illuminated dealership signage all going under the hammer.
To cover everything off would be impossible, so I’ve picked out a few of the star lots - you can check out the rest on the official website!
Honda 'Baja Africa' monkey bike 50cc

We begin our list with a proper unicorn of a bike, a super cute, and hyper rare Honda Monkey ‘Baja’ edition. The kits to convert the standard Z50 into a mini Africa Twin were only officially sold in Japan, meaning to clap eyes on one over here is a very rare indeed. It comes with proof of its Japanese deregistration, has a key present and, best of all, it’s only stated to show 2km on its odometer. As you’d expect for a bike of that mileage, it looks extremely tidy!
Thornton Hundred Triumph Bobber

If most bikers were asked to name the most famous Triumph customisers in the UK, most would point to Thornton Hundred. Famous for his tyre-shredding runs up the hill at the Festival of Speed, Jody Thornton Hundred’s founder, makes some of the cleanest and most unmistakable customs on the road - and now you could own one.
If you were to approach the firm to ask for a build to this bike’s spec, you’d be looking at north of £20,000. This bike, with just 376 miles on the clock, a V5 and both keys, could, if it flies under the radar, be the cheapest way to join the Thornton Hundred club!
Honda EZ-9 Snow

From the sublime to the ridiculous, now, with a super rare - and we think JDM-only - Honda EZ-9 Snow. As the name and the picture suggest, it’s a Honda EZ-9 (already a rare scooter) converted for use on snow. At the front, you get a giant ski attached to the front wheel, and at the rear, there is a snow track - just like you’d find on a snowmobile. The listing states that only 300 of these weirdly wonderful machines were ever produced, meaning it could be the only chance you get to bid on this extremely rare machine.
Yamaha TZ125

The final bike we have plucked from Pandora’s box is a Yamaha TZ125 two-stroke race bike. Still wearing its plain white fairings, the machine is a 1999 vintage, and while there are no details relating to how much it’s been used, it doesn’t look to be in bad shape.
The TZ125 was kind of a big deal for Yamaha, as it became the Japanese firm’s first water-cooled 125cc race bike. The quoted 44 bhp the bikes had when new may sound diminutive, but with just 70kg (dry) to shift, performance was impressive.
We’ve only just covered the tip of the iceberg on this one. There are garage mats, illuminated signs, farm and fun quads, Yamaha and Honda Trikes, a jet ski and lots of machines still sitting in their crates. If you want to take a look at quite possibly 2026’s most wild and eclectic auction catalogue, step this way.
