Rossi book and documentary “well underway” according to The Doctor
During a podcast in Italy, the seven-time MotoGP champion, Valentino Rossi, confirmed that a book and documentary are coming soon.

Speaking on the Italian radio show Say Waaad on Radio Deejay, Valentino Rossi has confirmed that his next two big off-track projects are already moving at pace.
First to land will be a book, with a documentary to follow once the ink has dried.
Rather than a glossy re-telling of familiar MotoGP folklore, the series is being positioned as a clear-eyed look at the real Rossi, with no dramatic reconstructions and no Drive to Survive-esque manufactured mythology. Instead, Rossi says the focus is squarely on the personal side of life: raising his daughters, Giulietta and Gabriella; adjusting to the rhythms of normality after two decades of living inside the MotoGP paddock; and what it actually means to step away from the paddock without stepping away from racing. It promises to chart the shift from global superstar to father, mentor, and, occasionally, just a bloke who still loves motorcycles.

Valentino Rossi will forever be known as one of the biggest stars MotoGP has ever seen. With seven MotoGP championships to his name, and a further two from his time in the 125 and 250cc Grand Prix World Championships, the results alone mark Rossi out as one of the greats.
But it wasn’t just Rossi’s on-track success that garnered him a global army of supporters. Had Rossi not won a single title, his on-track ability and off-track likeability would have likely still won him a great number of fans.
And even after the number 46 was retired from MotoGP, his affection from his fans has hardly waned, and through his ownership of his VR46 MotoGP team, and previous VR46 exploits in Moto2 and Moto3, still allows him to interact with the paddock and his fans - when he’s not taking part in endurance races, that is.
No official date has been given for when the book and documentary will be released. We’ll keep you updated on that when we find out.
