Honda has revealed its ten custom build entries that have made the cut for the 2026 Wheels and Waves show in Biarritz, France, which includes an ‘On vs Off’ road theme.

For this year’s event, Honda has selected ten finalists with an even split of five CB750 Hornet and five XL750 Transalps.

Both line-ups feature retro-inspired models, however, some of the custom builds have gone for a different look entirely. Starting with the Hornet range, it’s the Concept 2077 from Honda Switzerland and Stark Industries that grabs the attention. There’s no mistaking the look it's going for either, with the bike inspired by the Iron Man character that’s played by Robert Downey Jr, as Tony Stark. The bike uses 3D printed bodywork, including the new lower fairing and underpan of the new front-end.

Developed with Stillmoto, Honda Spain’s entry gets a retro-inspired race theme from the 1980s. Officially named ‘Last Lap’, it makes use of a newly-designed front fairing which was built in-house by Stillmoto. It is also finished in an HRC-inspired colourway.

Another highlight from the road-going line-up is the White Venom edition, which has been produced by Honda Germany and Motocrew. White Venom is a CB750 Hornet that’s smothered with flat tracker styling, which is offset by a matt black frame. It also houses Rotobox Bullet carbon rims, which are wrapped in slick Dunlop tyres, while a custom Wilbers exhaust system completes the look.

Moving to the off-road line-up, which is dedicated to the XL750 Transalp, there’s really no other place to start than the bonkers-looking three-wheeler from Honda Benelux and Dealer Anquety Motor Sport. The Belgian entry has been given an all-new custom swingarm, rear-axle, and axle retention system, all to accommodate the trike’s heavily revised bespoke drivetrain.

Like the HRC-liveried ‘Last Lap’ entry from Honda Spain, Honda Italy and DRS Custom have opted for the brand’s iconic HRC tricolour aboard its Transalp model. The same can not be said for the UK’s entry, which has been built together with CJ Ball, which is a Honda dealership and training school based in Norwich.

The bike features a sweet-looking paint scheme that takes after the Dakar Rally. The front fender has been raised in order to heighten its off-roading capabilities, while upgraded off-road tyres and race number boards complete the racing look.

All ten bikes can be viewed at the 2026 Wheels and Waves show which begins today (Wednesday, 10 June), and ends on Sunday, 14 June. The custom build competition is part of the Japanese company’s ‘Honda Customs’ initiative, which gains a new element in 2026. Each build will be reviewed by designers of the original bikes including Valerio Aieillo (Transalp) and Giovanni Dovis (Hornet) from Honda’s R&D centre in Rome.
