Honda Celebrates Over 30 Years of Marshal Support at Isle of Man TT
Honda is celebrating more than 30 years of partnership with marshals at the Isle of Man TT, with the 2025 event less than a month away

With the 2025 Isle of Man TT races less than a month away from getting underway, Honda is celebrating more than 30 years of Travelling Marshal support at the legendary road race.
Honda first started its partnership with marshals at the Isle of Man TT in 1977 and during this time various production Honda motorcycles have been utilised in this unique role, including the 1977 CB750, 1978 CBX1000 and 1995 RC45, as well as various iterations of the Fireblade.
Originally introduced in 1935, there are traditionally eight machines positioned around the course to provide a rapid response in the event of any incidents. The riders have previous race experience and are first-aid trained, with machines carrying medical equipment that can assist in managing a casualty.
The Isle of Man TT was also the venue which hosted Honda’s debut into competitive motorsport. Now on the verge of this year’s event which is shaping up to be one of the most highly-anticipated TTs of all time, Honda still holds the record for most wins by any manufacturer at the event.

"On behalf of everyone at Honda I would like to thank each and every member of the Travelling Marshal team, past and present, for their dedication and commitment,” said Honda Racing UK team principal, Neil Fletcher.
“Their role at the TT is entirely unique and Honda is incredibly proud to have provided them with the machinery that enables them to carry out such a crucial role at the event. Without them, there is no racing, and without the racing, Honda is not able to proudly celebrate such a rich history of racing on the island. I eagerly look forward to another year of close racing on the island and wish all competitors and everyone at the TT a safe and successful fortnight."
Honda will be looking to add to its success in 2025 as John McGuinness will lead the field away in the big bike classes, while Honda Racing teammate Dean Harrison will again set off from third spot.
