Hero sub-brand launches new electric dirt bike in India
Hero Vida has entered the off-road electric space with its new Dirt.E K3 bike for kids aged 4 to 10

Hero Motocorp’s sub-brand Vida has officially entered the off-road electric segment after revealing its new Dirt-E K3 model.
The new electric dirt bike is designed for kids aged 4 to 10, and has so far been released for the Indian market only.
But with Hero having recently arrived in the UK, it could look to make an even bigger impact by bringing its new off-road electric model to our shores some time in 2026. Hero could also use Triumph as a gauge to see how popular the Hinckley-based company’s new TXP trials range proves to be, before debuting its new model in the UK.
The new Dirt-E K3 comes with a 500W electric motor that’s paired with a 360Wh detachable battery.
Its battery pack can be charged at home and it has a working range of around three hours. Topping up the battery from 20 to 80 per cent can be done in two hours.

The bike comes with three riding modes which are Low, Mid and High, and as expected there are restrictions when it comes to speed. When riding in mode Low the speed is restricted to 8km/h (5mph), but if Mid is selected then the maximum speed increases to 17km/h (or 10.5mph).
If you want all the power the new Dirt-E K3 has to offer, then High will give riders 25km/h (roughly 15.5mph).
One of the main attractions with this bike is likely to be its three-stage adjustable set-up, which allows the bike to be configured in either a Small, Medium and Large configuration. This means the bike can be resized in line with the child’s growth.
Seat height goes from 454mm (in mode small), to 544mm (medium). But if configured to Large then the seat height rises again to 631mm.
