Instalment three of Visordown's Bizarre Biking Laws
THIS week’s Bizarre Biking Law is more annoying than anything.
Next time you're riding through Spain while listening to music or chatting to your mates, you may want to be careful of cops noticing your intercom system.
According to Article 18 of Spain’s General Driving Regulations, ‘driving using earphones or headphones connected to receiving devices or sound players is illegal’, punishable with a fine of €200 and three points.
Technically, however, intercoms aren’t actually inserted into the ear and so could classify as speakers, but try arguing that in Spanish court!
