Could there be a future Rossi racer on the way? Valentino Rossi and his partner Francesca Sofia Novello are expecting their first child, the veteran racer confirms via his social media accounts.
Writing on his social accounts, the Doc says “After a careful visit we can tell you that Franci is pregnant! We are waiting for a girl” with the outpouring of congratulations instantly flooding in.
This will be Rossi’s first child with 26-year-old model and influencer partner Franci Novello.
Of course, a huge congratulations goes to Rossi and Franci, a racer who last week also announced his plans to retire from MotoGP racing at the close of the 2021 season, bringing his decorated 25-year career to a close.
Perhaps the decision to retire from MotoGP was eased with the knowledge of a child on the way, although he has also confirmed his ideas to take to racing with 4 wheels - you may remember he’s quite a hand behind the wheel, swapping bikes for Formula 1 in a video with Lewis Hamilton.

What’s quite amusing is the level of detail that Rossi has gone to with this reveal - naturally donning a Doctor’s overalls, but also crafting his own doctor's badge complete with signature! In a quick search, Rossi was given an honorary degree in Italy - so I suppose the ‘Doctor’ title isn’t too out of the ordinary…
