TRIUMPH has selected the three finalists from its inaugural Bobber Build-Off Challenge. The Public vote will close on the 29th August and the confirmed three finalists to choose from are: Pure Triumph (above) Wellingborough; Laguna Ashford (below) and Peterborough Triumph (bottom of page).
Each dealership will now go into a head-to-head showdown, judged by a celebrity panel that consists of: Arsenal legend Ian Wright, The Bike Shed founder Dutch van Someren, and Triumph’s Chief Product Officer, Steve Sargent. The winner being revealed at the Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride (DGR) in London on 29th September.
Triumph UK launched its first ever Build-Off at The Bike Shed show on 24th May. The competition attracted entries from 13 Triumph dealerships around the UK, who used a combination of off-the-shelf parts and hand-crafted engineering skills to design and personalise their beautiful Bonneville Bobbers.
The 13 selected dealerships presented their own custom versions of the Bonneville Bobber for public vote. Fans of the iconic modern classic have been voting for their favourite three online via the Triumph website until last week.
Triumph is once again the lead motorcycle sponsor of the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride, making this the brand’s sixth year of helping to raise awareness and funds for the DGR's two chosen causes, prostate cancer research and men's mental health.
