Honda Adventure Roads will head to Morocco for its 2024 edition, the fourth since its inception.

Morocco will host the first of three annual Honda Adventure Roads events on three different continents in 2024, with participants making use of the Honda CRF1100L Africa Twin to take on the difficult and challenging terrain of the North African country.

The route of the 2024 edition will cover 1,700 miles of Morocco’s sandy dunes and rocky mountains. It stretches from Agadir on the west coast of the country out past the Atlas Mountains and Dades Canyon and all the way out to the eastern city of Nador.

No more than 30 riders will be able to take part, and each will sleep in bivouacs and be led on the Moroccan tour by a team of guide riders. A Tripy II GPS system will provide additional navigation assistance, while additional security will be provided by an Owaka live tracking system.

The riders will also have the bikes provided to them by Honda, including “all necessary accessories,” a Honda press release reads. Additionally, they will have a choice between a manual transmission or a DCT.

The bikes are a part of the event’s ‘turnkey’ package, which also includes “all top class accommodation, luggage transport, food, navigation, fuel and medical support,” Honda says.

Finally, the 2024 Honda Adventure Roads will give its participants the chance to ride alongside HRC’s factory rally team riders.

Previous locations for Honda Adventure Roads have included Norway (2017), South Africa (2019), and Iceland (2022).
