Brit smashes Nurburgring record

BRITISH biker, Andy Carlile, has set a new motorcycle lap record at the Nürburgring Nordschleife.

Carlile is now the fastest man ever to lap the 20832m Northloop. Carlile, who moved to the Nürburgring in 2007 set a time of 7m10s on a modified 2005 Yamaha YZF-R1.

How long does it take to get to a point where you can try and beat the record? Carlile claims to have completed a few thousand laps of the 'Ring..
