Brad Pitt to star in Sons of Anarchy prequel, maybe

Star mooted for role in Sons of Anarchy spin-off

HE'S owned a string of custom motorcycles and a Ducati Demosedici, so it's fair to say that Hollywood star Brad Pitt likes his bikes and now he's being linked to plans for a prequel to the popular TV show Sons of Anarchy, in which he could play Jackson ‘Jax’ Teller’s dad.

The British actor Charlie Hunnam, who plays Jax Teller in the show about an outlaw bike gang in California, has been speaking about the idea of a prequel and says that he would ‘love to see’ it happen.

Hunnam has said that the show’s creator, Kurt Sutter, is trying to get a Sons of Anarchy prequel off the ground. Responding to a rumour the Sutter is lining up Brad Pitt for the new show, Hunnam said that it would be ‘awesome’ if Brad Pitt played his dad.

Sutter has explained that a prequel series including Brad Pitt would take place during the Vietnam war and would be limited to 12 episodes. He has also confirmed that he’s working on another different SoA spin-off centred on another Californian bike gang, the Mayans.
