AUTHORITIES say the motorcyclist killed while taking part in a trackday at Anglesey Circuit on Sunday was Paul Alan Shaw, 41, of Wigan.
There will now be an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the accident. Police would not comment on claims that Mr Shaw may have suffered a heart attack immediately prior to the crash.
Anglesey Circuit press officer Andrew Môn Hughes said: “Safety is paramount and we have regular inspections. This accident was not specifically a circuit safety issue."
