Farm in Wales has two-mile race track

This farm in Ceredigion, Wales, includes nearly 400 acres of space and a two-mile race track that is complete with full planning permission and authorisation from motorsport governing bodies. 

The track has largely been used for rally cars previously, and boasts loops, split roads, and safety features such as Armco barriers and tyres. 

Adding to the uniqueness of the track are the stunning views located around it, while the Dolebolion livestock farm spans approximately 395 acres of the landscape. The current owner and now seller, together with his family, has been running the business as a beef and sheep farm.

The property can be accessed via a private tarmac drive that starts in the village of Pontrhydfendigaid, near Tregaron, which is located in West Wales. However, the driveway also features a dedicated tarmac service area, which can be used for car servicing and also acts as a helicopter landing pad.

According to Wales Online, roughly one mile of the track is 12-feet wide in order to meet regulated Hill Climb Event specifications. It also features a bridge so that spectators can cross the track.

The fully tarmac track has also served as the venue for several events, including timed car testing and a World Championship skateboarding event that was filmed for Sky Sports. The track has reportedly been used by numerous European competitors for testing.

For those willing to splash some cash on this farm and race track, you should know that it’s gone on the market with a guide price of £3.5m with Savills Cardiff.
