Custom motorcycle builder Bandit9 has transformed this Ducati Monster 821 into one of the boldest designs you could think of.

Receiving a heavy dose of aluminium as part of its frame, the bike has been restricted to just nine units worldwide, and it will cost $44,900 (around £33,500).

That’s a lot of cash. However, the bike is fully kitted out in some of the best equipment out there. At the centre of the Ducati 821 is an 821cc Testastretta 11-degree twin-cylinder engine from Ducati, which produces 110bhp at 9,250rpm and 65.9lb.ft of torque at 7,750rpm.

The naked bike is no longer that, thanks to its fully-faired aluminium bodywork, which meets a carbon fibre rear section around the rider’s seat.

The bike weighs approximately 175kg dry, and it features an 870mm-high seat. Front suspension is in the form of non-adjustable 43-mm Sachs forks up and an adjustable Sachs monoshock with preload and rebound at the rear.

Braking comes in the way of dual 320mm Brembo monobloc radial callipers at the front and a 245mm Brembo disc out back. The custom build has resulted in the gas cap and fork covers being finished in polished aluminium.

The bike is already available for pre-order on the official Bandit9 website, although build times could take around six to 12 months before shipping.
