Sam Sunderland wins on his competitive Triumph debut at Red Bull Romaniacs
Sam Sunderland was in top form during his official Triumph racing debut as he claimed victory at the Red Bull Romaniacs.

Sam Sunderland could not be stopped as he powered his Triumph Tiger 900 Rally Pro to victory at the Red Bull Romaniacs race.
Sunderland was competing on a near-stock version of the Tiger 900 Rally Pro, as he went on to claim a dominant win in the Adventure Lite class.
Sunderland officially retired from motorcycle racing at the Dakar in 2024, although he still competed at the event. Sunderland, who is a two-time Dakar Rally winner and former FIM World Rally-Raid Champion, was joined by Jonny Walker, who rode in the Adventure Ultimate class.
Walker took his Tiger 900 Rally Pro to second place, despite a technical issue encountered on day one of the event.
Sunderland, thanks to his commanding performance, claimed victory by a whopping four hours and 19 minutes.
Speaking after his victory, Sunderland said: “So that’s Red Bull Romaniacs 2025 complete! I’m really happy to take the win in the Adventure Lite class with a comfortable margin – I even managed to enjoy the views today! The bike was incredible all week, even in some really tricky spots with steep climbs and more.
“To take the Tiger pretty much straight out of the showroom with not much time to test it and then put it on the top of the box is amazing. Overall, I really enjoyed the race and was super happy to take the win and show everyone what adventure bikes are capable of.”
