Italian helmet maker Caberg is letting the cat out of the bag a little early, sharing details of the collection it plans to display at EICMA next month.

Caberg is based in Bergamo, not terribly far from the Italy-Switzerland border. Founded in 1974, its name is derived from the phrase “Caschi di Bergamo,” literally: “Helmets from Bergamo.” The company takes pride in the fact that it was the first Italian outfit to develop flip-front (aka, modular) helmets.

“The 2026 collection reaffirms Caberg’s commitment to technical and stylistic excellence, while maintaining rider protection as its top priority,” explains a media release from the company. “Among the most anticipated new releases… are the TRIP and Roxter models - two helmets that embody Caberg’s passion for innovation, safety, and Italian design.”

The TRIP is Caberg’s first “flip-back” helmet, allowing you to rotate the chinguard 180 degrees, so that it rests behind the head. This is a design that seems to be particularly popular with the delivery rider set.

The TRIP is ECE 22.06 P/J approved and features a number of adjustable air vents. Equipped with a Pinlock 70 Max Vision insert, it also has an integrated sun visor. In most of Europe, the sun visor is available in dark or mirrored versions, but this may not be the case in the UK - where visor restrictions are particularly stringent.

The TRIP also integrates the “Caberg SOS Medical ID system,” which the company describes as “an electronic NFC-enabled feature that allows riders to store emergency medical data and contacts, facilitating prompt assistance in case of an accident.”

The helmet is compatible with Caberg’s “Pro Speak Evo” communication system and available in sizes XS to XXL.

Also new to Caberg’s line-up is the Roxter, a full-face helmet “featuring a modern, sporty design and an excellent quality/price ratio.”

Caberg says the target audience here is younger riders tackling everything from urban commutes to long-distance (on-road) adventures. The Roxter is available in two shell sizes, and fittings of XS to XXL.

Built to ECE 22.06 standard, it promises a ventilation system that “is optimized to ensure effective airflow even at low speeds.”

The lining is fully removable and washable, and cheek pads are shaped to facilitate the use of glasses or sunglasses. You also get a removable chin curtain and a removable nose guard, which reduces visor fogging and makes you look cool.

A Pinlock 30 anti-fog lens comes standard, and the helmet is compatible with Caberg’s “Pro Speak Evo” communication system. It is available in solid Matte Black and Glossy White at a suggested retail price of €109.99 (about £95 at current exchange rates). If you want to go extra fancy, the Roxter is also available in the “HUNTER” graphic, which Caberg says has a “bold, youthful look.” That will set you back €139.99 (about £122 at current rates).
