Brough Superior Dagger S revealed
The ultra-boujie bike builder Brough has added another model to its Dagger range, with the new Dagger S promising sportier dynamics and a more focused ride.

Launched in 2022, the original Dagger was a more modern interpretation of the brand's existing SS100 machines. It boasted full carbon bodywork, including the fuel tank, a dinky front nose cone, 18-inch wheels (which at the time were a first for Brough), and Euro5 homologation.

Where this new S model differs from the above seems to be purely in the riding position and ergonomics. The bars of the bike now sit lower and further forward, placing more of the rider’s weight over the front of the bike and placing them in a naturally more racy riding position. The small front nose cone has also been tweaked, with Brough claiming that the cutaways and overall shape of the fairing are more aggressive than on the 2022 bike.

Visually, the bike seems to be pretty much exactly the same as before. In fact, the only real aesthetic changes from the standard Dagger seem to be a kind of honeycomb design within the carbon fibre on the top of the fuel tank, and some fairing elements around the side of the radiator. Oh, and the ‘S - Sport’ motifs.

Mechanically, the new bike is the same as before, with power coming from Brough’s own 997cc water-cooled V-twin. Peak power is a claimed 102bhp, while peak twist is a claimed 64lb-ft. The chassis still includes Brough’s signature calling card, the gloriously over-engineered, but delectable to look at, Fior-type cast aluminium fork system.
Pricing for the bike is, as is usually the case with Broughs, not disclosed on the website. It does that tell us that should we want to buy one, you can go down “whichever way you choose, the price of the Brough Superior DAGGER / DAGGER S motorcycle will be the same.”
We think they mean 'expensive'.
