Billy Bolt confirmed as part of star-studded Red Bull Tyne Ride line-up
The Red Bull Tyne Ride will return in 2025, with local hero and five-time Super Enduro champion, Billy Bolt, set to compete.

Billy Bolt will lead a star-studded enduro line-up at this year’s Red Bull Tyne Ride, which is set to take place on August 30.
The 2025 edition will mark the second running of the event, after it debuted in 2024. The competition, created by Red Bull together with Bolt, who is a contracted athlete with the company, will feature some of the biggest stars from around the world.
Alongside Bolt, who is currently third in the 2025 Hard Enduro World Championship standings, the event will feature the most successful enduro rider of the last few years, Manuel Lettenbichler. The KTM rider has won the last three Hard Enduro titles on the global stage, and is on course to make it four as he currently leads the series.
Also set to compete is Jonny Walker, who will be riding a Triumph as he looks to defend his Tyne Ride crown.
The event, which tests speed, skill and endurance, will feature its first female competitors in Rosie Rowett and Chloe Richardson. The former will be riding a Rieju motorcycle, while Richardson will be riding a Beta.
Ahead of her first visit, Rowett said: “I’m really excited to be involved in the Tyne Ride and the opportunity for female riders to get involved in a Red Bull event. The course looks hard! But I can’t wait to give it a go and challenge myself.”
The race, which takes place on Quayside, is free to attend for the public and it will feature a series of challenges before a final head-to-head to determine the winner. Speaking ahead of the event, Bolt told Red Bull: “The course is insane, it’s hugely creative in track design, with features inspired by different action sports – it’s really going to challenge the competitors."
