Motoball needs little explanation; imagine bargey motocross riders confined to a small field with a large football and a goal to score. It soon gets messy...
It can be played on grass, tarmac or dirt and all riders bar the goalies are aboard 250cc dirt bikes, which seriously ups the pace - and injury rate - of the sport. Crashes are plentiful but unlike the players of the aforementioned sport, these chaps man up and get on with the game.
The UK has its own team and there's even a dedicated European Motoball League...
So move over football, there's a real sport in town!
