Used Review: Richa Spiker leather jacket

The first thing that drew me to the Richa Jacket was its clean look, which I really like.

Since then the Spiker has been comfortable and the removable lining proved a great addition with the ever changing temperatures which we seem to be experiencing.

The built in armour sits snugly and doesn’t make you look like your wearing ‘80’s style shoulder pads like some jackets I’ve seen- which is always a bonus.

However there are some distinct flaws with the jacket, the main one being it’s white. I didn’t realise the amount of crud that’s thrown up when riding, instantly making your pristine white jacket look crap.

Secondly the material patches on the sleeves are great in the heat, but the second there is even a drop of rain you end up with very wet arms.

I was disappointed to discover that a patch of leather had completely rubbed off on an edge of my tank protector. While this may be unavoidable, I wouldn’t have expected it to happen so quickly.

It’s a good jacket, but there’s no way I’d ever get one in white again!
