BMW's new S1000RR doesn't look like the cheapest bike to drop, but these bungs made the difference
I know not everyone likes crash bungs, but this image is a pretty clear sign that they can be worth their weight in gold. This S1000RR was crashed a few weeks back in the freezing cold weather, but the crash bungs and bar ends stopped the owner picking up a hefty repair bill. That fairing ain't cheap.
Now all R&G need to do is develop crash bungs that deflect pedestrians away when they run across the road infront of a bus and into your S1000RR. That's what happened to me a few weeks back in Farringdon and she ripped the headlight and fairing off in the process..
