The Alpinestars Excursion Jacket is a premium all-weather performer, its Gore-Tex® membrane and Teflon® water resistant coating combining to keep you dry and comfortable.  An innovative forearm design allows for enhanced flexibility and comfort while riding.   Optimized for use with the Excursion Gore-Tex® Pants.    Construction  •  Highly abrasion and tear resistant rip-stop type fabric construction makes for a rugged, protective jacket.  •  Teflon® coated outer shell enhances water resistance by reducing moisture’s ability to cling to the garment.  •  Waterproof and breathable Gore-Tex® membrane keeps the rider dry and comfortable in all conditions.    Safety  •  CE certified Bio-Armor elbow and shoulder protectors are lightweight and slim while providing class-leading impact protection.  •  Chest and back pad compartments with PE protective padding  (Alpinestars’ hard, CE certified back protector insert and chest guards available as accessory upgrade).  •  Additional impact absorption provided by external foam padding on the shoulders.  •  Integrated high visibility reflective stripes.    Comfort  •  Innovative forearm stretch panel allows the full range of arm movement while reducing the amount of stitching required.  •  Zippered air intakes and rear air exhaust on the arms let you control the amount of ventilation you receive.  •  Volume adjusters and side gussets located on the arms let you precisely adjust the fit to improve comfort and reduce wind flap  •  Removable thermal liner on the sleeves allows the jacket to be comfortable in all seasons.  •  Convenient internal waist connection zipper for attachment to a wide range of Alpinestars riding pants.
